Welcome to Bramwood Guesthouse and Bramwood Cottages - Bed and Breakfast and  Self Catering Accommodation in Pickering.

Helene and Richard welcome you to Bramwood Guest House and Cottages. In the Guest House we offer the traditional English B&B experience with cosy bedrooms and a hearty breakfast. Both the Guest House and our two self catering holiday cottages are located close to the centre of Pickering and provide an ideal base to explore this part of North Yorkshire. We fell in love with this charming 18th century grade II listed property the moment we first set eyes on it and we like to think that you will too. So come and stay with us and prove us right!

There are activities for all tastes and age groups in this beautiful part of Yorkshire. Bramwood itself is within easy walking distance of  Pickering's magnificent Parish Church with its unique collection of medieval frescoes, Pickering Castle, the Beck Isle Museum of Rural Life and the NYMR train station. Pickering of course is the terminus of the North York Moors steam railway so you can indulge in 18 miles of pure nostalgia as you steam through the beautiful scenery of the North York Moors National Park, perhaps stopping off in Goathland (home of "Heartbeat") or continuing on to the picturesque old fishing port of Whitby.

There are a variety of pubs, cafes and restaurants just a short walk away and a wealth of unique family run shops.

What else is there on offer? Where do we start? Or more importantly where do you stop? Bike trails for all abilities from beginner to expert in nearby Dalby Forest, Museums, historic ruins, stately homes and gardens, cliff top, forest and moorland walks, fish 'n' chips, renowned restaurants taking pride in serving local produce. Take a look at the following pages and decide what you would like to do on this visit, and the next, and the next......
